Big Thief, who first played MASS MoCA after the release of their stunning 2016 debut record Masterpiece, make their triumphant return a decade later with a concert in Joe’s Field that promises to be among the most electrifying shows of the summer. Formed in Brooklyn and led by beguiling singer-guitarist-songwriter Adrianne Lenker, they have become one of the defining indie-folk bands of their generation. Big Thief has partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 from every ticket sold will go towards safeguarding people experiencing homelessness and ending the cycle of homelessness and poverty.
