French Conversation Class - Fall Series

Stone Building- East Room, Elting Memorial Library. Join us this fall in the Elting Memorial Library's East Room for another series of French Conversation with Gregor Destin of Fluency Fair! Whether you've joined us before or are coming for the first time, this conversation group is designed for A2/late-beginner learners and above who want to build confidence speaking French in a relaxed and supportive environment. Each session focuses on a practical conversation topic prepared in advance. Participants are encouraged to explore the topic beforehand, then come ready to speak, interact, and grow their fluency through real conversation. Register to get an email reminder the day before the program. Registration is encouraged and saves you a spot. Fall Dates: October 1 October 15 October 29 November 12 December 3 Time: Thursdays, 6:00–7:00 PM Level: A2/late beginner and above New This Fall: Join the Fluency Fair Language Challenge! From November 1 through December 19, Fluency Fair is hosting a 7-week French and Spanish Language Challenge designed to make language learning fun, social, and motivating. Challenge participants focus on one topic each week, complete short daily missions through the Fluency Fair app, and put what they're learning into practice through real conversations. The Challenge also includes milestones, pins, prizes, and a celebration at the end to recognize everyone who follows through. Our French Conversation sessions during the Challenge will follow the same weekly topics, so the library group can serve as an in-person practice opportunity for Challenge participants. Joining the Challenge is completely optional and is not required to attend the French Conversation class.
