Each month, we spotlight a book that has sparked controversy—whether for its themes, language, political ideas, or its willingness to confront uncomfortable truths. Our goal isn’t to provoke for the sake of provocation, but to understand why these works were restricted and what they reveal about culture, power, and the freedom to read. Through open, respectful conversation, we examine the historical context behind each challenge, discuss the book’s literary value, and celebrate the voices that others have tried to silence.
