About this event
This is a special night for our WTNB (Women, Trans, and Nonbinary) players. We will be hosting a mini-tournament for all WTNB participants. Come enjoy dodgeball with the community! On the other court, we will be hosting cloth dodgeball for our players. **Pricing** * $3 with a membership * $7 for nonmembers * FREE for first timers * $40 annual membership - if you sign up for our annual membership at the start of open gym, your session that night is free. **Minnesota Dodgeball Membership** Learn more about membership benefits [here](https://www.minnesotadodgeball.com/membership). **Location:** Southdale YMCA, 7355 York Ave S, Edina, MN **Parking:** Feel free to park in either the front or back lot. **Check-in Process:** Upon arrival, please stop by the front desk and inform them that you are there for dodgeball. **Getting Started:** Once you've made your way to the gym, our Minnesota Dodgeball facilitators will be available to greet you. They will provide you with a wristband/assign you to a team. **First-time Participants:** If this is your first time attending, we kindly request that you sign a general liability waiver and receive an introduction to the rules before joining the game on the court. **Operations:** * Court Size: Teams will be formed based on the number of participants present. * Ball Type: We will be using 7-inch rubber/foam/cloth balls * Number of Balls: Each court will have a total of 6 balls in play. **General Rules (No-Sting & Foam):** * At the beginning of each match, 6 balls will be lined up on the court. To avoid injury, players may only run for the ball on their right side. * Before throwing a ball, players must clear the attack line for the throw to be considered live. * The objective of the game is to eliminate players on the opposing team by either hitting them with a dodgeball or catching their throw. * Successful catches bring a player back into the game. * Deflections are considered live. * To retrieve balls, players should…
