Field Hall Presents: Free Jazz Sunday featuring Students from the PAHS Jazz Band Sunday, May 3rd @ 12PM | Sunset Bar & Lounge Free admission; VIP tables available for $40 donation Join us for FREE JAZZ SUNDAY in the Sunset Lounge on Sunday, May 3rd featuring Students from the PAHS Jazz Band! Enjoy an evening of live jazz featuring a talented student ensemble in a dynamic jazz combo setting with student musicians on drums, piano, bass, guitar, saxophone, trumpet, and trombone. The program spans everything from bebop and swing to Latin jazz, blues, modal, fusion, and funk. The performance includes two sets drawn from the American Songbook, featuring classics like Autumn Leaves, Blue Bossa, All Blues, and The Girl From Ipanema, with brief introductions that bring each piece’s history to life. The evening also features a special set from guest musicians including Jessie Lee (who was featured in April’s Free Jazz), Pete Harris (drums); Lonnie Shelton (keyboards); Kendall Melton (Bass); Jarret Hanson (Trumpet); and Keith Boll (saxophones). General Admission seating is first come, first-served and not guaranteed throughout the event. Private premium tables are available by RSVP and $40 donation. LIVE MUSIC in the Sunset Lounge from 12:00 to 1:30PM. Bloody Mary & Mimosa Bar available in the Sunset Lounge 11:00AM – 2:00PM. The Waterfront Coffee Bar will be open and offering food and drink from 8:00AM-3:00PM. Free Jazz Sunday is a monthly event series at Field Hall and is made possible through the support of local donors; if you’d like to support this series, please consider a donation at checkout or during the event. Please note: seating is limited for this popular free event series! Plan to arrive early (doors open at 11AM) to secure seating.
