*free* Gelli Printing Class in person and Zoom at herchurch in San Francisco, CA on Sunday, April 26, 2026.
This fun, easy technique is kind of hard to stop and makes wonderful elements for your art journals, greeting cards, mixed media projects and more. Even if you don’t play along I think you’ll enjoy watching. 1-3pm PST, free as a part of herchurch's Tactile Spirituality Initiative. If you'd like to Gelli Print with us from home, you'll want a gelli plate and supplies of your own. I like www.gelliarts.com, but you can search “gel printing plate” and find similar products from other retailers and even instructions to “cook” your own. You also need a brayer, acrylic paints, and lots of paper. Stencils also make it awesome, but you can make marks with lots of household things like rubber bands, toilet paper rolls, q tips, hand cut paper stencils, just about anything that will leave a mark but not damage your plate. (leaves, feathers, textured papers . . . check your back yard and your recycling bin!) If you join us in person, we have lots of supplies to share in the Art Womb. Zoom link is below. If you need to reach me at the last minute, *please send a text* as I likely won't see emails or Meetup messages. 415 425 9070. Zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/3795824945 herchurch is located at 678 Portola Dr San Francisco, 94127. There is plentiful, free parking. Please be vaccinated or masked when joining us in person, and please stay home if you have symptoms of illness. This class is free courtesy of herchurch's tactile spirituality initiative.
