Free Family Day

Let your child’s creativity shine on Inspiration Place! Draw a colorful masterpiece in chalk, leave a cheerful message, or simply have fun creating something all your own. Then, head inside for even more fun! Explore exhibits with free admission for families that include at least one high school-age or younger child. Catch a movie featuring the beloved animated character Little Mole (Krtek). And get creative with hands-on activities in our classroom. There’s something for curious minds and creative kids of all ages! The National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library is proud to participate in this year’s Free for All: Linn County Arts & Culture Week, an initiative from the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation. The weeklong event will give residents and visitors opportunities to experience the diverse arts, history, music, theater and cultural offerings found throughout Linn County.
