Free Contra Dance Sunday Evening May 17

Contra dancing is a form of social American folk dancing that features: Easy to learn Dance with experienced partners (they will ask you or ask anyone you wish). Experienced dancers enjoy dancing with newer folks. If you think you can't dance - let us prove you wrong (we're good at it) Lots of fun, social interaction. Make new friends! Great live music. All dances taught before dancing (we have thousands of them). Wonderful old hall with exceptionally nice wood floor. Come with or without a partner or in a group - we make it all work. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes, as this is a casual, social dance! Best to bring your own water bottle - but we do have water available. Lesson is at 6:30, with social dancing from 7:00-9:30. This dance is free thanks to generous donatoin.
