A rotating cast of WMPG DJ’s broadcast Freaky Fridaze live from the PMA from 5:00 p.m. — 7 p.m. This happy hour series takes your favorite community DJs out of the studio and into the wild, spinning records and soaking up the vibes with listeners and music lovers. Join us for a rotation of DJs each Free Friday night this September. Bring a blanket and settle into the Shaw Family Sculpture Park for Freaky Fridaze. DJs for September: 9/4 — Kenny Mac & Annella — Northern Soul Night 9/11 — 2h1 & Celandine 9/18 — DJ Jon & Teal Child 9/25 — NoKal, <3, & Miss Match About WMPG: WMPG is a community radio station broadcasting from Portland, Maine. It is located on Bedford Street at the University of Southern Maine Portland Campus. It is affiliated with the college, and a mix of USM students and volunteers from the greater Portland community produce all the music and local public affairs programs. It broadcasts 4.5 kilowatts on 90.9 (licensed to Gorham, where the main campus of USM is located) and can be heard as far north as Augusta, Maine and west into New Hampshire. WMPG broadcasts online 24/7 and has a number of podcasts and archived programs.
