@ Save the date for a full day of fall fun in Clayton The Foxfire Mountaineer Festival returns Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the Clayton Civic Center Pavilions. Bring the whole family for a lively day celebrating Appalachian heritage, community, music, hands-on traditions, and good old-fashioned fun. From heritage demonstrations and children’s activities to local vendors, food, and live entertainment, Mountaineer is a chance to spend the day together and enjoy fall in the North Georgia mountains. More details about this year’s demonstrators, musicians, food vendors, and activities will be announced as the festival gets closer.
