Explore Florida’s prehistoric past and discoveries from farther afield during Fossil Day at The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature! Join us for fossil displays, hands-on activities, a scavenger hunt, and a guided tour highlighting paleontology. Visit Gallery 3 to explore tables from the Florida Paleontological Society, The Bishop’s Florida’s Fantastic Fossils, and participants sharing fossils from their Nebraska Badlands trip. Head to the Willis-Smith Classroom for information and interviews about White Sands National Park, plus a chance to make your own fossil trackway.
