Forge - Hairpin Make & Take

In this class you will make your own forged hairpin while learning Forge safety and the fundamental use of the tools and equipment listed below. Our instructor will guide you through the process step by step, tool by tool. Topics Covered * Forge * Propane Management * Tongs * Hammers * Anvils & Hardy Tools * Vises * Belt Grinder * Drill Press Additional Information Attendees must be at least 13 years and up. Please bring a large water bottle to keep hydrated, and wear natural-fiber clothing and closed-toe shoes. After the successful completion of this class attendees will be given a certificate allowing them use of the Forge equipment with a paid Make Salt Lake membership.
