Forest Fridays | Back Mountain Recreational Fields in the Back Mountain Fridays, June 26, July 31 & August 28, 2026 | 6:00 p.m. Forest Fridays at Back Mountain Recreational Fields in the Back Mountain will be held on Friday, June 26, Friday, July 31, and Friday, August 28, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. These free monthly hikes invite participants to connect with nature and the community. Held on the last Friday of each month from June through August, the hikes are open to all ages. The routes are described as easy to moderate, making them approachable for a range of experience levels. Each hike is facilitated by a certified wild mushroom hunter and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Participants can enjoy time outdoors while learning, exploring and connecting with others. Forest Fridays in the Back Mountain offers a welcoming way to enjoy nature, movement and community connection.
