Leesburg Public Library - Meeting Room A, Leesburg Public Library - Meeting Room B, Leesburg Public Library. Connect with local outdoor enthusiasts and help care for nature through the Florida Trail Association. Since 1997, the Highlanders Chapter has provided a welcoming home for Central Florida hikers, actively maintaining 56 miles of regional trails and organizing year-round outdoor excursions. This free monthly meeting offers community members an open forum to discover local hiking opportunities, participate in trail stewardship, and meet fellow adventurers. Following the business meeting, attendees are invited to stay for an educational presentation featuring guest speakers on outdoor recreation, Florida wildlife, and regional conservation efforts. Ages 18 . No registration required.
