About this event

The cutter Cetacea (latin, marine mammal-dolphins/whales), a beautiful, strong, and well-appointed 42' blue-water sailboat with extensive operational and safety systems, invites a few crew aboard with a highly experienced skipper and platonic-only water sports enthusiast and science/technology entrepreneur. Strong preference for adventurous crew, as can be seen in the various photo albums of crew on more than 140 no-cost personal sailing adventures the past 9 years! This event is for women that prefer to sail with other women; sorry guys but there is a big demand for female-only sailing that isn't being met. Sailing experience isn't necessary, but enthusiasm for a fun, safe and exhilarating daysail, is! Yayyy,,, the **USAF Blue Angels** are back!!!! We'll slow-sail around the North Bay while gawking at **[big ships](https://fleetweeksf.org/events/parade-of-ships/)** and then hover near the flight zone for 3 hours of exciting flybys! This is an adrenalized fighter-jock sightseeing show, not a substantial sailing experience, and so we'll have a larger crew (6-10) than normal with a lot of sitting, eating, drinking, photographing, and ogling the aerial displays! Please note that parking is very limited at the marina and you'll probably have to park at Pier 34 and walk the short distance (1/4 mi?) to SouthBeach marina. Please be sure to rapidly respond to my emails to you, via your meetup account, or you will be summarily scuttled in the "Not Going" zone of abandoned flotsam, jetsam, and tidal detritus :-0
