Flamenco on Thursdays!

As a part of Throwback Thursdays we are taking a trip to Spain and exploring a genre that goes back to as early as 1774 and getting our flamenco on. No prior dance experience is required! *NEW* FIRST APPROACH - Introduction to Flamenco for Absolute Beginners is the ideal way to start dancing flamenco. Our class will focus on strong footwork, proper posture, upper body coordination, understanding flamenco music and compás. Women can begin with any comfortable shoes sturdy, wide heels that are 1 1/2 to 3 inches high and hard soles. Or you could buy your character shoes at Showbiz Dance Wear. Also, if you are ready to buy your Flamenco shoes, you could buy them online, a good brand name is Menkes. Men can wear sturdy shoes or low boots with 1 to 1 1/2 inch heel.
