Join us for our THIRD Fixer Mixer – repair based community events where you can bring something to be repaired and learn how to be a fixer! This Fixer Mixer is for TEXTILE upcycling / mending: how to create patches, embellish them with your own style and add it to items or use it to mend / patch materials needing repair. You can join us and make a patch to take home to add to something and / or bring an item that needs patching- anything from a shirt, jacket, sock, blanket, if it is a textile chances are we can help you repair it to functionality. -Repairing is an important part of reducing waste and consists of keeping items in use for longer it also allows us to save money, and preserve materials!
