About this event
The PMML building is like an iceberg—what you can see in the public areas is just a fraction of what exists behind the scenes. In fact, 80% of our building is dedicated to work that the public never sees…until now! In 2026, the PMML is peeling back the curtain on 40,000 square feet of state-of-the-art storage and archival processing space with a monthly behind the scenes tour. Highlights of the tour include a glimpse at hundreds of framed propaganda posters in our custom mobile hanging storage system, a collection of autographed photos from famous military leaders in WWII, and our Digital Laboratory which features one of the largest flatbed scanners you’ll ever see! First Fridays in the Archives offers behind-the-scenes access to the PMML’s incredible new building dedicated to the preservation of the stories of our Citizen Soldiers. Tour with Q&A runs approximately 30 minutes. Space is limited and advanced registration is encouraged. *Tours are free for Individual Plus level members and higher. Individual level member tickets are $10. Non-members tickets are $15 and include the price of museum admission. Not yet a member, join today!
