About this event
For September FIRST FRIDAY, our popular European Series continues with Munich Dunkel (Munich-Style Dark Lager, 5%)! It’s deliciously approachable and brings all the fall vibes. Available in cans and on draught at the Farm beginning September 4th at 4pm. Plus, we will have live music from Chris Montcalmo. Making his Manor Hill debut from 5-8pm in the Courtyard! In German, “dunkel” means dark… so our take on a Munich Dunkel Lager naturally uses a grist of nearly 100% German dark Munich malt, with a dash of chocolate malt. The result is a deep amber colored dark lager exhibiting aromas of toasted breads and roasted plums, layered with subtle notes of chocolate and toffee. Using traditional German hops that bring just enough bitterness for balance, we’ve allowed the malt to shine while maintaining a barely dry, crisp finish. PROST!! Our Farm & Taproom will be open with 14 taps featuring farm-brewed beers, hard seltzer, and non-alcoholic hop water, plus multiple options in cans available to go. All seating on the Farm is first come, first served. We have indoor seating, a large covered tent, and plenty of outdoor space to spread out. There are several picnic tables in our field, but we also encourage you to bring your own chairs or even a portable (10×10) pop-up tent for shade and find your new favorite spot with friends. Our Farm Stand (conveniently located behind the bar) is constantly evolving and is sure to have some locally produced items for sale, including staples like Manor Hill Farm Pickles, Relish, Jellies and more. Manor Hill Pizza Trolley will be open with brick-oven Neapolitan pizzas, salads, snacks, novelty ice creams, and more! (please note the Pizza Trolley may close one hour before farm closes.) INFO ON VISITING THE FARM While visiting the farm, be sure to check out our agriculture in action. Our award-winning beers may be our most well-known agricultural product, but our 54-acre working farm has so much more to offer. In fact, the majority of…
