The Kennesaw Downtown Development Authority and the Kennesaw Downtown Merchants Association will close out the 2026 First Friday Concert Series on October 2 with a performance by the Groove Daddies. A community favorite now in its sixth year, the series takes place on the first Friday of each month from April through October, excluding July, in Downtown Kennesaw. The Groove Daddies perform a mix of blues, rock and classic hits, combining steady rhythms with recognizable favorites. Known for their engaging stage presence, the band delivers a relaxed, crowd-pleasing performance. The concert will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Main Street Plaza and will feature live music, local brews and food.
