First Friday at Capitol Modern - Downtown

Capitol Modern’s First Friday happens almost every month. It’s a FREE, family-friendly evening of art and music. The Lēʻahi Gallery and their Sculpture Garden will be open. There's live music by local artists in the Sculpture Garden, with dancing in the "pond". Food and drinks are available on the 1st & 2nd floors. The full schedule changes monthly, but the theme is the same; namely a celebration of art in all its forms. Lately they've had a disc jockey from 5 - 6. Live music follows at 06 - 6:30. Doors open at 5pm but I’m scheduling the meetup to begin at 5:45 pm because bench seating is limited. You’re welcome to come early to enjoy the festivities. Vendors usually set up between 4:30 - 6.
