Discover the joy of bringing clay to life! In this beginner-friendly mini-class, you will learn to transform a simple, flat slab of clay into a sturdy, hollow cylinder form. Once your base is built, we will dive into the playful basics of facial sculpting. You will learn step-by-step techniques to score, slip, and blend clay to create expressive eyes, noses, and mouths. By the end of class, you will have your very own unique, character-filled vessel ready for the kiln. No prior pottery experience is required. Pieces will be glazed, fired and ready for pick-up two weeks from the class date.
