About this event

**See below for RSVP instructions!** If you ever find yourself feeling alone and disconnected from the world, needing to compare, judge, or compete with others to get ahead, reaching for relationships or possessions to feel valuable, or feeling like you need to be right all the time, it can be difficult to experience a stable sense of peace. In this *4-week course, we’ll explore the addictive ways our minds create suffering and how these thought patterns show up in our everyday lives. We’ll also explore love-based thinking as a path toward greater inner peace, connection, and freedom. Each class will focus on a different addictive thought pattern, such as the need for approval, comparison, judgment, control, or being right. We’ll examine how these patterns have shown up in our own lives, then practice shifting toward a more loving perspective. Through reflection and present-moment embodiment, we’ll learn not just to think differently, but to experience what becomes possible when we stop believing every thought our mind produces. Week 1: Fear vs. Love Week 2: Returning to the Present Week 3: Practicing Acceptance Week 4: From Scarcity to Abundance *We will meet every Monday from 9/21 through 10/19. We will NOT meet on 10/5. Though you are not required to go to each class, the value of the experience compounds with each week you commit to. Tickets are $20 per class or $80 for the whole series. If this offering really calls to you and you’re in financial hardship, you may pay what you can. **You can Venmo @gabriella-karp and RSVP to this event to reserve your spot!** Please bring a notebook and pen. About Gabriella: We’re taught many things in school, but often not how to find peace within ourselves. My own experiences with challenging relationships, loneliness, and feeling helpless to change my experience sparked a deep interest in discovering the patterns of thinking and behaving that can quietly keep us stuck.
