Film screening: The Third Harmony (documentary on nonviolence)

The Third Harmony: Nonviolence and the New Story of Human Nature is a documentary film (2020, 44 minutes) that explores nonviolence as an essential human characteristic, arguing that cooperation and collaboration are our natural state, rather than competition and violence. **NOTE: We may be able to offer a Zoom option for attendees; we'll update this post as soon as we know.** Both science and wisdom traditions challenge beliefs in “inevitable violence” and the competitive pattern of history. This film features interviews with activists, scientists, and experts—including Bernard Lafayette and Erica Chenoweth—to discuss the power of peaceful means to bring about political and social change. Director Michael Nagler will join us by Zoom to introduce the film and for Q&A afterwards. \-\-\- [HumanistsMN](https://humanistsmn.org) is committed to fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and caring community for all our members.
