Ok, so the Chatham Orpheum theater was only available on the 12th for their Film Screening & Panel Discussion: Old Ladies Against Underwater Garbage (OLAUG), but the Chatham Waterways and the Chatham Conservation Foundation wanted to get on our Clean Water Week roster, so they are! Join Friends of Chatham Waterways (FCW), the Chatham Conservation Foundation and Old Ladies Against Underwater Garbage (OLAUG) for the premiere screening of OLAUG, an inspiring documentary directed by Liz McGregor of Boondocs Film. The film tells the extraordinary story of OLAUG’s volunteers—Cape Cod women over 65 who have gained international attention for removing trash from ponds and lakes across the Cape, protecting wildlife, and improving water quality. Following the film, there will be a panel discussion with participants featured in the documentary. OLAUG founder Susan Bauer will serve as moderator and will sign copies of her new book, Swimming with Turtles.
