About this event
Join Englewood Arts AND the Friends of the Englewood Theater for a special screening of “The Paranormal” (1998) by Todd Norris 🎬 Long overlooked and scarcely distributed, Todd Norris' The Paranormal is one of the great 'lost' achievements of the SOV (Shot on Video) era. Smart, sharply structured, and performed with an unexpected level of polish, it pushes well beyond the scrappy expectations of its budget. The “zombie” movie includes many scenes from the Englewood Theater and the neighborhood. Explore an independent film that leans into mystery and atmosphere, then connect with neighbors who care about local art and a thriving Englewood. The director will be present for the showing along with some of the cast members.Your ticket supports our mission to build community pride through public art, events, and housing support. Stay after the film for casual conversation about filmmaking, storytelling, and how creativity strengthens our neighborhood. 🌙
