We pay homage to American singer-songwriter and “Queen of Country” Dolly Parton (1946 – 2026) — actress, businesswoman, philanthropist, and longtime literacy champion — with a screening of the classic workplace comedy 9 to 5. Three female office workers become friends and join forces against their sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical boss. Their revenge unexpectedly leads to a more humane, efficient and enjoyable workplace. Funny, sharply satirical, and still relevant, 9 to 5 takes aim at sexism and inequality in the workplace while celebrating friendship and solidarity.
