Fiends of the Forest: A Northeast Ohio Adventures D&D One-Shot

For decades, rumors have circulated that disfigured fiends known as “melon heads” have been spotted in the woods around Kirtland, Ohio. Legend says they were once orphaned children in an asylum owned by a twisted doctor named Crowe who performed all kinds of experiments on them. Now, however, it seems that the “melon heads” are all grown up and sowing the chaos that Crowe cursed them with. Pets have gone missing, horrific noises have been heard at night, and children claim they’ve seen creatures watching them from the tree lines near their homes… For the safety of the community, you have been sent to investigate these claims and the mysterious melon heads. Fiends of the Forest is DM Bryn’s third installment of her new original series of D&D one-shots titled Northeast Ohio Adventures. The series takes inspiration from Ohio lore, legends, and history and blends them with the magic and mystery of Dungeons & Dragons. DM Name: Bryn System: D&D 2024 5.5e Difficulty: Easy Max Players: 6 Player Requirements: We will have pre-generated 3rd level characters, or you can use the D&D 2024 5.5e rules with fixed HP with standard attribute array to create your own 4th level character. Players can start with one uncommon and one common magic item. Player Age Minimum: 16 Note: There is a 3-player minimum to all D&D one-shot events. If there are less than 3 players signed up by the night before the event, tickets will be transferred to the next one-shot of your choice.
