About this event
Community Room. Italian feasts became a Long Island tradition when immigrants brought religious and cultural celebrations from Southern Italy in the early 20th century. Today, processions, food, music, and community gatherings continue to celebrate this heritage. The presentation will also explore the history of the Feast of St. Rocco and the volunteers who keep this tradition alive.
