About this event
Conversations with farmers exploring themes of seed, soil, labor, and bringing it all to the table. We eat food every day, but we may not often think about what it takes for that food to reach our plates. In this series, we will talk with farmers about their practices and perspectives on food production, the cultural impacts agriculture has, and what it means to be a farmer in this time and place. These conversations serve to encourage eaters to consider the complexity of farming practices beyond the binary of “good” and “bad.” The work that farmers do is so important — join us in celebrating it. The first guest will be Nancy Grove from Old Path Farm. This conversation will take place at The Other Side at 7pm on Thursday October 15th. Short Q&A will follow. It’s free and open to the public – donations welcome.
