Pop into our program room anytime between 12-5PM for Fantasy Friday, where we’ll be binging fantasy television shows. This time, we’ll be screening a marathon of season one of The Owl House. Refreshments will be provided. About The Show: Created by Dana Terrace, The Owl House is a horror-comedy about a book-loving teen who doesn’t fit in in the real world. When her mom sends her off to “Reality Check Summer Camp,” she accidentally stumbles through a portal into a terrifying and magical world, where she learns to become a witch, even though humans have no magical abilities. She makes powerful friends and enemies and studies with the most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles, who has a curse that will change their lives forever. You can watch a trailer of the show here. This show is a good fit for readers who enjoyed Claribel A Ortega’s Witchlings series, or for fans of the shows Gravity Falls, She-Ra, and Infinity Train. This show has humor for adults and children alike, and is rated TV-Y7 for fantasy violence and scary elements.
