Family Watercolor Painting | Level 1, Session 1

This Level 1 watercolor class at Hudson Gardens is a gentle introduction to painting for all ages. Families will learn basic watercolor techniques, explore color and brushwork, and create simple, nature-inspired paintings together in a relaxed, supportive setting. No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a love of creating side by side. Class fee admits one person to the class. On the first day of class, first-time students will be provided one piece of watercolor paper, shared paints, shared palettes, shared brushes, and water containers. All provided materials except your paper remain onsite and cannot be brought home. Returning students should bring their own supplies. Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Individuals over the age of 16 may sign up alone or with family members. Please Note: Art classes such as, but not limited to, stained glass, ceramics, oil painting, printmaking, etc. may require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) due to possible exposure to substances which could be potentially harmful if proper safety precautions are not followed. Be sure you understand your individual risk before enrolling. Refunds must be requested three full business days prior to the start of the first class and will include a $5.00 refund fee.
