Downtown will be busy on Saturday, September 26 with the Family Safety Festival hosted by the City of Columbia City! Come on down from 9-Noon for a fantastic day packed with activities, including: -FREE helmets for the first 100 residents! -Kasey, “the Fire and Life Safety Dog,” will be there to teach families about fire safety! -Paint your handprint on a plow with our Street Department crew! -Exciting drawings and giveaways, with a car seat up for grabs! -Car seat checks from 9:00 AM to noon with Whitley County Health Department -Witness the “jaws of life” in action with our amazing Columbia City firefighters -Watch a drone in action with Officer Branecki -Meet our K9 officer, Jake
