Drop the kids off for intentional, guided practice on the pottery wheel, or stay & play too! Ages 8+ Ongoing: Fridays, 6:00pm - 8:00pm. $40. Ages 8-Adult (Parents welcome!) **Attendees must pre-register here:** https://www.catalystartscollaborative.com/service-page/family-clay-night-ages-8-fri-6pm-1 This ongoing class is designed for entry-level and experienced students alike, looking for more practice time on the pottery wheel. An experienced clay instructor will offer guided, small-group instruction for anyone interested in learning the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel. More advanced students are welcome to use this time to practice what they already know and try new tricks! After creating about 1-3 pieces, we will dry and fire their pieces for them. Most pieces are ready for pickup in 2-3 weeks. Ceramics teach a number of valuable skills, including perseverance, patience, problem solving, and creativity! Bring your kiddos in to come play on the clay wheel and learn how to use this fun tool to create functional and decorative pieces, or join in on the fun and make some ceramic pieces of your own!
