Economics and Art (new) Understanding basic economic concepts Learning budgeting skills Maximizing creativity with scarce materials We want kids to explore the arts as well as their own artistic abilities as they experiment with different tools and materials that artists use For ages 5-12 For each class, there will be a different theme or set of materials used for the day Materials/tools we will be using- Paint (acrylics and watercolors) Color pencils, crayons, oil pastels Markers (water-based, tempera, fabric) Origami papers and fabric Pipe cleaners, pom-pom balls
