Fall Houseplant Exchange

About this event

Please join the Riverdale Library team and ​other community members for a houseplant exchange. This is a great opportunity to swap plants, discover new varieties, and connect with neighbors over coffee, tea, and refreshments. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis and all participants must bring at least one plant or cutting. Event Schedule: 11:00 AM: Participants begin arriving and plant collection begins 11:45 AM: Plant selection begins and there is raffle for a special prize Exchange Rules: All participants must bring at least one healthy, pest-free plant or cutting. You may take home the same number of plants that you contribute (e.g., bring two, take two). Please label plants and cuttings with brief care instructions on an index card. Labeling supplies will be provided at the event. If your plant is potted, please be prepared to part with the container. We also welcome donations of cuttings and potted plants from those who wish to contribute without participating in the exchange. We look forward to seeing you there! This program is for adults, 18 +.
