About this event
Bring your costumes and experience the magic and mystery of the woods at night with our Fall Fest Candlelight Adventure! As the path is illuminated by glowing candles, you’ll walk through shadowy trees, feel the cool breeze and hear the rustling leaves. This family-friendly event includes a 3/4 mile candlelight hike to the Lavinia Group Camp where there will be a cozy campfire. Stop by the Visitor Center for treats, hot cocoa and some special animal guests and at the Picnic Shelter for games, crafts and Smokey Bear! And, if the sky is clear, our telescope will be at the beach. All vehicles entering the park need a valid Minnesota State Park vehicle permit which is $7 for the day and $35 for a year.
