Kick off the new school year at MOHAI! Arrive early to America 250: Protecting Tribes’ Treaty Rights to connect with fellow educators and learn how our programs can support your in-classroom learning goals in a casual, drop-in setting. We will explore our portable museum and onsite field trip offerings, booking process, and provide strategies to integrate MOHAI resources into your lesson plans. Then at 7pm, join us for America 250: Protecting Tribes’ Treaty Rights. Local tribal historians and leaders will discuss the histories and futures of US-tribal treaties and learn how Native peoples continue to exercise and fight for their rights and sovereignty.
