Fall Buffalo Gals Luncheon featuring Audrey Hall and Chase Reynolds Ewald Wednesday, October 21, 2026 11:45 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Location: Kuyper Dining Pavilion Join us for our Fall Buffalo Gals Luncheon on Wednesday, October 21 with a special presentation by author Chase Reynolds Ewald and photographer Audrey Hall. How do two people from very different places and backgrounds meet in Cody, Wyoming and begin a friendship and creative collaboration that spans three decades? Through personal stories and rarely seen photographs, Audrey Hall and Chase Reynolds Ewald share the people, places, projects, and adventures that have shaped their work together—from the unlikely pitch for BISON: Portrait of an Icon in a UPS Store parking lot to books, assignments, and other adventures across the American West. Earlier this year, a historic opportunity hatched over Christmas dinner sent them on a cross-country road trip during the depths of winter following three monumental bison sculptures from a Colorado foundry to the steps of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History. Part friendship story, part creative journey, the conversation offers a behind-the-scenes look at thirty years of collaboration—and the unexpected moments, relationships, and leaps of faith that have shaped the work along the way.
