Fall Break Rock 101 Camp

ABOUT THIS CAMP Want to play in a band on stage? Our Rock 101 music camp is designed for beginners 8-12 years old. No experience necessary! Students will explore their instruments through musical games and activities. Our nurturing environment makes this the perfect camp for budding musicians. Students will work on songs Monday through Friday and the camp will culminate in a concert at the end of the week for family and friends. SCHEDULE Camp runs Monday through Thursday 9:30am - 3:00pm each day Drop off is no earlier than 9:00am each day Pick up is no later than 3:00pm each day Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based games/activities FRIDAY PERFORMANCE On Friday, campers will put on a show for family and friends and perform the songs they’ve been working on all week. The show will take place at the school at 1:00pm. We will be providing more details about the show on the first day of camp. SHOULD MY CHILD BE IN ROCK 101 CAMP OR THE PERFORMANCE CAMP? We get this question a lot. If you’re not sure which camp is the right fit, we’d be happy to sit down with you and your student, play a few songs, and help determine where they’ll thrive. We’ll make sure your student is placed where they’ll learn the most and have the most fun. You’re also welcome to stop by anytime! WHAT TO BRING Campers must bring their own (NUT-FREE) lunch, snacks and water bottle labeled with their name each day. Please make sure your student wears clothing and footwear suitable for both indoor and outdoor activities, especiallyduring summer camps. Students are expected to bring their own instruments needed for the duration of the camp. We can supply instruments if needed. Please note that campers may rotate through and play different instruments throughout the camp, depending on the needs of the group.
