Fairmount Park Arboretum, Japanese Gardens & Belmont Plateau Maze

2 hours, 3-4 miles, Japanese Gardens, The Philadelphia Horticultural Center, The Philadelphia Horticultural Center in the heart of Fairmount Park includes the Arboretum and The Japanese Gardens. The area should be beautiful this time of year. Sometimes the greenhouse in the horticultural center is open. We might be able to grab a banana from a tree: only with permission. There are miles of trails we can hike. Nearby are Memorial Hall, Belmont Plateau, the Maze, and other park attractions including Historic Mansions. Carpooling To carpool from Hill House (201 W Evergreen Ave, Phila) meet 40 minutes before the event. Carpool time changes if hike time changes. Contact me (215 247 4459) 3-4 days in advance. GENERAL RULES : ••Hike at my pace. ••Hike lengths are approx: allow 30min -1hr extra. ••Donation requested.
