Friday, March 26, 2027 from 10:00am to 2:00pm 1-day class fee: $115 / $92 annual donors Artists of all levels are welcome to explore the art of printmaking. We will approach printmaking through monotype and monoprint using a Sturges press and then incorporate collage, along with using additive and subtractive methods. Class will begin with a brief history of monotype/monoprint throughout the ages, followed by an instructor demonstration of the various techniques used to create these painterly prints. Students will learn various methods of applying inks to the plexi-plates, using brayers, and brushes, as well as creating textures from collage. Everyone will create unique, one-of-a-kind prints under Deb’s instruction.
