Join young professionals across the DMV at the Edlavitch DCJCC for our signature volunteer event, Everything But The Turkey. Volunteers will prepare Thanksgiving-themed side dishes for those experiencing hunger and homelessness in our region – we’ll make Everything But The Turkey! Our program partners at DC Central Kitchen then add turkeys and distribute the meals to partner agencies including homeless shelters, schools, and more. This program is open to volunteers ages 21-45. If you are outside of that age group, we encourage you to participate in one of our other EBTT shifts happening Sunday or Monday evening. Registration is required for this program and we expect it to fill up quickly! Please note that we request a tax-deductible donation of $20 per person to cover the costs of this program in order to ensure that we are able to purchase high quality ingredients.
