Have you always wanted to try belly dance but weren’t sure where to begin? This welcoming class was created especially for true beginners! Whether you’re 18 or 80, curvy or lean, shy or outgoing, this uplifting class welcomes all ages, shapes, sizes, and walks of life. No dance experience is needed – just bring your curiosity, a smile, and a willingness to have fun! Class Details • When: Tuesdays, 6:30–7:30 PM • Dates: August 4 – September 22 (No classes August 25 or September 1) • 6 classes total • Early Bird: $80 (register by July 15) • Regular: $95 (after July 15) Join Elena as she guides you through the foundational movements of belly dance in a warm, encouraging, and judgment-free environment. We’ll learn graceful isolations, smooth hip patterns, elegant arm movements, and beginner combinations at a comfortable pace while enjoying wonderful music and a supportive community. As a special bonus, this session will work toward learning a fun group choreography that we’ll perform together at PorchFest! Performing is completely optional, but it’s always an exciting goal that brings the class together and gives you something wonderful to work toward. Perfect for absolute beginners.
