We will meet outside the main branch, by the entrance on the south side of the building.. Have you always wanted to know more about the trees you walk by every day? Do you want to feel more confident in distinguishing between the maples, oaks, and elms of Evanston? Do you just want to go on a nice walk with a group of tree lovers? Then this event is for you! Join us for a guided tree walk in downtown Evanston where we will learn how to recognize some of the most common species of street trees. Notebooks and pencils will be provided so you can leave the program with your own mini field guide. For Adults! The Innovation Station is a creative DIY space that provides tools for makers like YOU to work on projects. It's simple, you bring the ideas and supplies, and we supply the space and technology.
