Join Evolving Lingvo NYC for an informal Esperanto conversation meetup on **Saturday, August 22 at 12:30 PM** in Midtown Manhattan. Esperanto was created as an international language for communication across language backgrounds, and it continues to be spoken by communities around the world. This gathering is a chance to hear it used in person, practice what you know, ask questions, and meet other people interested in languages. You are welcome whether you: * already speak Esperanto * are currently learning it * enjoy linguistics or constructed languages * speak or study several languages * are simply curious about how Esperanto works * want to meet other language enthusiasts in NYC No previous knowledge of Esperanto is required. This is a social gathering rather than a formal class.
