Eskrima (Filipino Martial Arts) Workshop

Oak View Room. Kapamilya - Filipino American Celebration event (2/2) In celebration of Filipino American History Month, the Walnut Creek Library is working with The Gartden to bring you an Eskrima Workshop! This program will begin with an exciting Eskrima (Filipino martial arts) demonstration, followed by an opportunity for willing volunteers to join in and give it a try! Volunteers must be age 13 or older. Not interested in participating? No worries! Simply have a seat, sit back, and enjoy the performance. Everyone is welcome to join this hands-on workshop—whether you’re a FilAm looking to connect with your roots, a fan of Forgotten Island, or simply someone who enjoys learning something new! Generously sponsored by the Walnut Creek Library Foundation.
