Learn how to use the humble pink eraser as a wonderful tool for creative expression! Relief printmaking is never easier than when using erasers as your carving material. In this class students will learn important relief printmaking techniques including sketching simple designs (no drawing experience needed!), transferring your designs to the carving medium, safe and easy use of the carving tools, and making creative prints with the finished stamps. Eraser stamps use readily accessible materials to make a great artistic impact. Join us for a fun evening in the studio! All materials included. Event Details: Date : 11-06-26 Time : 10:00-11:30am Participants: max 12 (suggested ages 18+) Location: Explore Classroom Instructor : Michelle Sharp Cost for participants : Members: $20 General Public: $25 Instructor Bio: Michelle Sharp (b. 1992) is an artist currently working in the Fox Valley area of Wisconsin. She works primarily in bookmaking arts, photography, and writing. Michelle is inspired by the mundane, acts of sharing & discovery, literature, and structured systems.
