About this event
Friends! Are you familiar with Nonviolent Communication by Marshall Rosenberg? It’s an amazing framework for connecting to needs underlying feelings and for connecting with others and self with deeper empathy. An Empathy Circle is a simple, structured practice for listening with care and understanding. We take turns speaking and listening, with one person reflecting back what they hear so the speaker can feel heard, clarify their meaning, and share what matters to them. Join us! What to expect: Be heard: Share what feels meaningful to you, at your own pace. Listen deeply: Practice listening without interrupting, judging, fixing, or debating. Build connection: Explore different perspectives and deepen mutual understanding without needing to agree. Learn together: Two participant facilitators will guide us through the process. No experience or preparation is needed! Active listening takes focus, but you don't have to be perfect. Come as you are, and share only what feels comfortable. Participants often find that Empathy Circles deepen connection, spark insight and hope, and help people feel heard and valued. Event hosts are: AZ Amplify Empathy https://www.theempathycenter.org/
