The State Theatre presents Elf Pub Run The State Theatre Tuesday, December 1, 2026 Doors for Pub Run: 5:30pm Doors for Film: 7pm Film: 8pm Holiday hijinks are back with our annual Elf Pub Run, a Paramount tradition for over a decade. Our friends at the North Pole (okay, Buddy) wants to keep the holiday beers and cheers going even while the Paramount is under restoration. We’ll start at the State Theatre, Pub Run (or VIP bus ride) to Scholz Garten, the oldest beer garden in the country, for our elf shenanigans including: Snowball fights, costume contest (pro tip: Buddy uses this to plan his winter fashions, so think homemade, creative, and never before seen to have your best chance of winning!), and Narwhal ring toss. We’ll make our way back to the State Theatre for the movie screening, more holiday mischief and caroling! The distance between State Theatre and Scholz’s is 0.8 miles. Which ticket is on your wish list? VIP 1 Enjoy an Elftastic voyage on the Elf Party Bus to and from Scholz’s. We can’t talk about what happens on the bus, but IYKYK. What we can tell you is there are more refreshments and Elf-juice available for you. This ticket also includes a bar snack of your choice at Scholz’s ready to go when you arrive. (You’ll be emailed a menu to make your choice ahead of time). You’ll also have a chance to take a commemorative photo under the marquee and enjoy a reserved seating section at the State for VIP+ ticket holders. Your ticket includes 1 complimentary beer at Scholz’ and two at the State Theatre. VIP 2 Enjoy an Elftastic voyage on the Elf Party Bus to and from Scholz’s. We can’t talk about what happens on the bus, but IYKYK. What we can tell you is there are more refreshments and Elf-juice available for you.
